Poppy Playtime is a story-driven horror puzzle game set inside the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory, where all employees mysteriously disappeared years ago. Players take the role of a former employee who returns to the factory to uncover what really happened. Throughout the game, players use a special tool called the GrabPack, which allows them to interact with objects, solve environmental puzzles, power machines, and navigate through dangerous areas of the factory. Across five chapters, players explore different parts of the massive factory. In Chapter 1, players encounter the terrifying toy Huggy Wuggy while discovering the mysterious doll Poppy. Chapter 2 expands the factory with the Game Station and introduces the deadly Mommy Long Legs. In Chapter 3, the story moves into the dark Playcare orphanage where the sinister CatNap hunts the player using fear and sleep gas. Later chapters take players even deeper into the factory, revealing the horrifying experiments that transformed toys into living creatures. The story gradually uncovers the truth about the mysterious entity known as The Prototype, the powerful force controlling many of the factory’s creations. Combining puzzle-solving gameplay, exploration, creepy environments, and intense chase sequences, Poppy Playtime delivers a suspenseful horror experience where every chapter reveals more of the factory’s dark history and the terrifying secrets hidden within.
