Developed by Rockstar Games and released in 2004, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is set in the fictional state of San Andreas, featuring three major cities: Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas. Players control Carl “CJ” Johnson, who returns home after his mother’s death and becomes entangled in gang conflicts, corruption, and betrayal. The game introduced RPG-style elements such as character customization, skill progression, and territory control. With its massive map, memorable story, iconic soundtrack, and freedom-driven gameplay, San Andreas is considered one of the greatest games of all time and remains extremely popular due to its modding community.
