BIOMUTANT: A Post-Apocalyptic Kung-Fu Fable
1. The Dying Tree of Life
A natural disaster has left the world in ruins, and a poisonous oil is seeping from beneath the surface, choking the five great roots of the Tree of Life.
At the end of each root, a terrifying World Eater is gnawing away at the planet’s life force. You are the only one capable of stopping them, but whether you save the world or lead it to a new beginning is entirely up to you.
2. Genetic Evolution & Mutations
Your DNA is your greatest weapon. As you explore "Dead Zones" and radioactive areas, you can re-code your genetic structure to unlock incredible Bio-Mutations:
- Physical Changes: Alter your appearance to gain strength, speed, or intelligence.
- Psi-Powers: Unlock telekinetic abilities like Levitation, Telekinesis, and Ki-Spark.
- Biological Tools: Grow a turtle shell for defense or sprout wings to glide across the wasteland.
3. Wung-Fu Combat System
Experience a fluid and frantic combat style that blends three distinct disciplines:
• Martial Arts: Master the art of Wung-Fu through various styles learned from hidden masters.
• Gunplay: Shoot, dodge, and slide in slow-motion while raining lead on your enemies.
• Melee Mayhem: Use everything from katanas to giant electrified toothbrushes in close-quarters combat.
4. The Tribe War
The land is divided between six warring tribes. Each has its own Aura (Karma) and philosophy.
You can choose to join a Light Tribe to save the Tree of Life and unite the survivors, or align with a Dark Tribe to conquer the world and let nature run its course. Every decision you make impacts your standing with the world's inhabitants.
5. Craft Your Legend
The crafting system in BIOMUTANT is legendary. You can mix and match thousands of parts found in the ruins of the "Old World":
• Custom Arsenal: Create unique 1-handed or 2-handed weapons and various ranged firearms.
• Exploration Gear: Build Mechanized Suits (Mechs), jet-skis, and air balloons to navigate toxic environments, snowy peaks, and vast oceans.
