Batman: Arkham Origins – Complete Edition
1. The Night of the Assassins
Before the events of Arkham Asylum, Batman was a myth, a vigilante feared by criminals and hunted by the police. On Christmas Eve, the brutal crime lord Black Mask changes everything by placing a massive bounty on the Bat.
Eight elite killers, including Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Bane, descend upon a frozen Gotham City for one purpose: to kill the Batman before the sun rises.
2. The First Encounter
Experience the definitive origin story of the greatest rivalry in comic history. Arkham Origins depicts the first time Batman and The Joker cross paths, setting the stage for the chaos that will define Gotham for years to come.
You will also witness the beginning of Batman's uneasy alliance with a young, skeptical Captain James Gordon.
3. Enhanced Detective Mechanics
As a younger Batman, you use a more visceral and aggressive fighting style. This edition also introduces:
- Case File System: Reconstruct crimes in virtual reality to find clues that the naked eye missed.
- Shock Gloves: High-voltage gauntlets that allow you to bypass shields and stun even the toughest enemies.
- Remote Claw: A new gadget to tether enemies together or pull objects into your path.
4. Included "Cold, Cold Heart" DLC
The Complete Edition includes the massive story expansion, Cold, Cold Heart.
Discover the tragic origin of Mr. Freeze as he crashes a New Year's Eve party at Wayne Manor. Batman must don his specialized XE (Extreme Environment) Suit to survive the sub-zero temperatures and save the city from a deep freeze.
5. The Ultimate Prequel Experience
With all challenge maps, additional Batsuits, and story expansions included, this is the most complete way to experience the dark, snowy origins of the Caped Crusader.
