Battlefield 2142 is a futuristic first-person shooter developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts in 2006. Set in the 22nd century during a new ice age, the game depicts a global conflict between two military superpowers - the European Union (Pan-Asian Coalition) and the United States (Allied Nations).
The game introduced several innovations to the Battlefield series, including the Titan game mode where teams battle to destroy each other's massive flying warships, and the futuristic setting with advanced weapons, vehicles, and equipment like powered armor, cloaking devices, and EMP weapons.
